Kronos Hotel is a family-owned and run hotel, renovated in 2011 and reopened on April 1st of the same year. Well-situated on the coast of Iraklion, overlooking the Venetian Castle “Koule” and the Cretan sea, provides you easy access to the hotspots of Iraklion, such as the Archaeological and the Historical museum, and of course the port and the airport.

"Great hotel"
Once you get in you feel the hotel is well established. You always find someone smiling and helpful in the reception. Take a room with a sea view. The room is big enough and have everything you need( there’s a safe, minibar and hair dryer)
"The Perfect welcome to Heraklion"
Amazing staff--daughter and father. The daughter held a parking space until I could pull my car around to park. She let us check in a bit early and gave us cold drinks while we waited for them to make up the rooms. We had an large oceanside room with a large bathroom and great shower! An excellent value--a wonderful place to stay in Crete--my adult son loved that he could run along the fortress out the front door! Will stay there again if ever in Crete! Breakfast was extra--but worth it!

Although the hotel has only basic and clean rooms we loved this place on so many other levels: - Location: fronting on the ocean near Venetian Fortress, ports, airport, restaurants and walking street) - Staff: great customer service and a willingness to provide information and support - Views: the amazing sunset and sunrise over the fortress are beautiful
